Realtor® Lisa Baltozer: A Real Estate Advisor and Market Expert
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Lisa Baltozer, like many others, has not had a straight path to real estate. Serving as a broker associate at Keller Williams Gainesville Realty Partners, she started her real estate career in her college years during 1990s as a leasing agent. She then transitioned to property management before discovering her ultimate calling in sales.
After earning her broker's license in 1997, she chose to take a hiatus from the industry, only to return stronger in 2016, marking the beginning of her successful career.
Baltozer primarily works with residential sales, balancing her time equally between buyers and sellers. A significant portion of her buyer pool consists of first-time buyers, transients due to the local university and healthcare systems, and parents purchasing condos for their children attending the University of Florida (UF). Sellers come to her through a variety of channels, including repeat customers, referrals and online searches.
“I think for buyers, it’s crucial to have an agent that can advise them on what’s important when it comes to all parts of the transaction – writing competitive offers, home inspections and more,” she says.
Baltozer is one of 20 Realtors® in the first class of Florida Realtors® Board Certified Professionals, a new endorsement for Realtors who have reached the pinnacle of their profession and fulfilled leadership, education and skill-based achievements over the life of their real estate careers.
Passionate about helping others, Baltozer believes in advising buyers on crucial aspects of transactions and helping sellers understand the importance of presenting their homes attractively online. She enjoys mentoring other agents and promoting professionalism within the industry.
“Everything we can do to help other agents level up and learn the industry is important to our professionalism,” she says. “We can all pay it forward in our industry.” she says.
She considers relationship-building to be her business superpower. Baltozer leverages her property management background to be a font of helpful information for her clients and colleagues.
“I have a lot of knowledge and connections and can help buyers, sellers and other agents when they don’t know where to find help,” she explains. “I like to be the source of the source.” Whether it's a question from a client or a request for collaboration from industry counterparts, Lisa thrives on the trust and strong relationships she's fostered over the years.
Active in her local community, Baltozer has been involved in food and toy collection drives, has made donations to organizations like Family Promise, Brett of the Mighty, Rebuilding Together and the Child Advocacy Center.
“Volunteering really sparked something inside of me, and I love to bring people together,” she says. Recently, she has been working with Habitat for Humanity, participating in builds and meeting homeowners. Professionally, she is the current president elect of the Gainesville-Alachua County Association of Realtors and serves on its board of directors.
Eager to elevate her professional standing, Baltozer sought to become a Florida Realtors Board Certified Professional to help distinguish herself among real estate agents. She hopes this endorsement will help the public recognize her as an experienced, educated, ethical and professional agent.
“I chose to become a Board Certified Professional to elevate myself as a professional in the real estate industry,” she says. “We can all improve ourselves. I believe in continual education.”
Through her commitment, passion and professionalism, Baltozer helps strengthen her community and showcases the real estate profession.
