Realtor® Deborah Duvall: A Mentor and Problem Solver
STUART, Fla. – Deborah Duvall, broker-owner with Water Pointe Realty Group in Stuart, grew up in Port St. Lucie, one of the first 300 families in a community that has now blossomed to over 230,000 residents. “My playgrounds were construction sites,” she recalls. This early exposure to architecture and real estate set the foundation for her career.
Initially drawn to architecture, Duvall began her professional journey as a draftsman but quickly realized that her true passion lay in real estate sales, where she could combine her love for architecture and her desire to help people.
Today, Duvall specializes in waterfront properties, luxury homes, second homes, and estate and trust work. “I love the variety and the challenges that come with each transaction,” she says. “No two days are the same, and I thrive on the constant learning and problem-solving.”
More than just a broker, Duvall is a mentor to many agents at Water Pointe Realty Group. While she isn’t the managing broker, her role in mentoring and advising agents is invaluable.
“I just got back to the office, and within 30 minutes, one of the agents was asking for my help with a complex issue,” she shares. Whether it’s interpreting blueprints or offering practical advice, she believes her hands-on approach sets her apart.
Her commitment to help others extends beyond her professional life into her community involvement. Duvall has served on numerous boards and chaired several successful fundraisers. Currently, she is the chair of the Historical Society of Martin County and serves on the board for the Economic Council of Martin County.
“The community has given me so much, and I believe in giving back,” she says. “It’s in my DNA.”
Duvall’s business is built on relationships and a high level of personalized service. “Most of my business comes from repeat clients and referrals,” she notes. Her secret? Treating clients like they are the most important part of her day.
“When you sell a million-dollar home, you’re not just a Realtor®; you’re part of their staff, making their lives easier in every way possible.”
Her decision to pursue board certification, the first year it was offered, speaks to her dedication to her profession. “I see it as the PhD of real estate,” she explains. “It shows I’m at the top of my field and committed to continuous learning and excellence.”
Throughout her career, Duvall has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience, making her a trusted advisor to buyers, sellers and colleagues.
