ORLANDO, Fla. — One of the most important first steps in marketing a home is determining the price. Sellers want to know about the process, factors that determine a recommended listing price and other details. The National Association of Realtors®’ newest Consumer Guide provides some answers.
NAR Settlement: Forms, Resources, Webinars from Florida Realtors
What Goes Into Pricing Your Home is NAR’s 21st in its Consumer Guide series and focuses on providing sellers with the tools they need to make informed decisions about home pricing. The guide also explains comps and actions that can be taken to increase a home’s value.
Like the other Consumer Guides in the series, the newest one — along with other resources — underscores the value of working with a Realtor® with an eye on the practice changes that began Aug. 17.
All of the guides can be viewed at the NAR website facts.Realtor. The Consumer Guides can also be printed as handouts. Most are available in English and Spanish.
