Tech to Watch (and Use) in 2025

AI is transforming real estate with tools like virtual assistants, 3D staging, CRM automation and social media insights to boost efficiency and sales.

NEW YORK – Last year, technology, especially artificial intelligence-powered technology, was key to agent success. 2025 is likely to see more technological advancements.

The aim of any new technology should be to help real estate professionals work smarter not harder, bolstering efficiency and productivity so decisions can be made more quickly and accurately.

Virtual assistants for meetings can be useful to not only take meeting minutes by capturing transcripts, but also by delivering meeting summaries that enable agents to search for topics by name. Meetings are captured in real time.

A virtual assistant for the real-estate firm's website, which can be powered by AI, can become a 24/7 receptionist to greet visitors, answer questions, schedule meetings or calls, ask thoughtful questions, and provide information to visitors.

Virtual and augmented reality tools continue to improve, enabling agents to quickly add and remove furniture in a digital staging of a home. Virtual walkthroughs also can improve sales by allowing buyers to see the space in 3-D at their convenience. Both can save real-estate firms money on extensive upgrades and professional staging.

Artificial intelligence in customer relationship management (CRM) can help automate workflows, offer task reminders and communication nudges and help with lead scoring by analyzing patterns and behaviors.

AI-managed social media can make marketing easier by looking for insights into which content is resonating with the audience and tailor content to specific platforms, as well as generate authentic automated responses.
