Tech’s Growing Impact on RE Marketing, Sales

Real estate firms are adopting innovative tools like AI and blockchain to enhance efficiency, improve client relations and transform property sales.

NEW YORK — Real estate firms are increasingly using technology to market and sell homes through virtual tours, blockchain-based transactions, online listings and other strategies. By leveraging technology to streamline manual and administrative tasks, real estate professionals free up time to focus on client relationships and the business of buying and selling property, which makes them more competitive and can generate more sales and business success.

One platform, Atllas has tools that include OpenHome, which streamlines open house management, and Potentials, which leverages artificial intelligence (AI) data scraping to provide agents with personalized recommendations for customers. These kinds of tools can provide agents with vital market information to improve sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Neema Bardi, Atllas founder and a real estate agent, says, "The intersection of technology and real estate is paving the way for a more transparent, efficient and accessible market. Embracing these advancements will not only redefine the sales process but also elevate the overall standard of service in the industry."

Alyssa Soto Brody and Erica Sachse, co-founders of a New York City-based real estate sales and marketing brokerage called Powered by DMT, said tech is changing how homes are shown and sold.

“Our philosophy is that technology isn't just about improving buyer experiences,” Brody said. “It's also about empowering agents. With robust automation capabilities and an integrated sales approach, our agents are equipped to navigate the fast-paced market landscape with agility and precision.”

Adds Sachse: “As technology continues to advance, we're witnessing a fundamental shift in how properties are marketed and sold. With data-driven strategies and AI-powered tools, agents can anticipate client needs, optimize pricing and create tailored experiences that drive higher engagement and satisfaction.”

Utilizing technology in real estate sales and marketing is also a mission of Rainy Hake Austin, president of The Agency's global real estate brokerage. The Agency’s focus is to overhaul the brokerage industry though tech, resources and tools and support.

“At the Agency, we believe that technology can enhance our ability to provide personalized, white-glove service to our clients as well as connect our global network of agents in a meaningful way,” Austin says. “Through our systems, processes and tools, such as our marketing portal and proprietary CRM, we aim to streamline workflows, anticipate client needs and deliver exceptional experiences in every transaction.

“While we pride ourselves on being a boutique luxury brokerage, we aim to continue to develop tech that elevates the client experience by leveraging data insights to enhance our business. It's not just about efficiency; it's about enhancing the human connection at every touchpoint.”
