AI Streamlining the Real Estate Listing Process

AI is being used to improve efficiency for tasks that include lead generation, scheduling meetings and follow-up communications.

WASHINGTON – Artificial intelligence (AI) has allowed real-estate professionals to automate tasks to speed up lead generation and to save time for more complex duties.

AI tools have helped create personalized calling scripts, making them more relevant and engaging, as well as listing homes online. Real-estate processes often involve administrative tasks from maintaining mailing lists and managing emails to scheduling meetings, but these repetitive tasks can be handed off to AI tools to improve efficiency.

AI-powered virtual assistants, for example, can answer client inquiries, schedule property showings, and even manage follow-up communications, which enables agents to engage in strategy development or reach out to past clients. Rather than spend countless hours cold-calling area homeowners to generate leads, AI tools can analyze datasets to prioritize leads based on demographic information, historical interactions, and online home searches to determine the best candidates to reach out to about real-estate services.

AI tools also can schedule additional calls, provide relevant property information, send out personalized emails, and ensure that outreach is consistent. Agents will still have to conduct their own research for potential leads, and all potential sellers should be treated respectfully.

AI also can provide valuable insights that improve price negotiations based on market data and forecasts at a quicker pace than human agents, but agents also provide a nuanced knowledge about individual homes and neighborhoods that AI can miss.

Virtual tours and augmented reality (AR) technologies also can enhance online tours for prospective buyers, saving time and money on physical visits.
