Tech Tools I Regret Not Using Sooner
Writing for Inman News, Jimmy Burgess says a number of his go-to tech tools make his job easier, and he regrets waiting so long to adopt and learn how to use them.
NEW YORK – A number of tools and technologies are essential for growing a real estate business, such as video messaging platform BombBomb. With this tech tool, users can record a message and embed the video into email.
Once embedded, the email features a GIF that displays footage from the beginning of the video message. In addition, a “screen record” feature makes it easy for users to go over contracts, share photos of a new listing, or walk a potential customer through a CMA (comparative market analysis).
Meanwhile, artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT interacts in a conversational way with questions users ask. It can also serve as a personal copywriter and creative supervisor for social media postings.
Another important tool: Testimonial Tree is software that helps real estate agents request reviews and testimonials, plus it has graphic design templates agents can use to market themselves.
Next, CapCut is an easy-to-use video editor that features templates for creating Instagram Reels, TikToks and YouTube Shorts, in addition to editing features, such as speech to text and background removal.
Another key tool is Keeping Current Matters, which provides professionally designed content for agents to help them be regarded as a trusted expert in their market. The tool oversees such things as personally branded blog posts, statistical graphs and social media content.
An accounting software called QuickBooks helps agents manage detailed financial records while also creating reports that let users make comparisons to previous years’ results.
Finally, DJI Osmo Gimbal is a stabilizing tool that helps agents remove unwanted movements in their videos and provides a cinematic feel.
