Attract More Clients by Targeting Your Audience
A blog can go international for agents who hope to find a bigger client base – and a focus on business-to-business topics may do that too.
NEW YORK – Business-to-business (B2B) marketing can yield benefits to real estate agents who incorporate it into their industry blog, writes Ben Shepardson. “B2B marketing for real estate means casting a wide net – even a global one – as this means that you can capitalize on opportunities for connecting with buyers, and properties, across the world,” he explains.
This expansion can be achieved by publishing listings in places that reach a broader audience, such as global listing aggregators, domestic portals that offer translation, lead qualification services and via global syndication.
Another tip: Maintain the consistency of blog content, which Shepardson says “is all about focusing on topics that reinforce one another as well as your status as an authority and an expert.”
Agents can establish their expertise by concentrating on other topics related to general real estate information, including new mortgage lending or brokering developments.
Shepardson also emphasizes the value of a blog that provides a good user experience, which means information is easy to find and easy to access.
“Whether you’re focusing on your global reach, creating consistent content, or focusing on the best user experience you can provide, building B2B marketing into your real estate blog can lead to major brand growth for you and your agency,” he concludes. “Focus on these factors and you’ll see results.”
