Florida Realtors 2025 Goals: Impact, Innovation, Leadership, Advocacy
In 2025, Tim Weisheyer, broker-owner of Dream Builders Realty in Celebration, takes the helm of the nation's largest state Realtor® association with the goal of promoting Realtors as "Champions for the American Dream."
“Our members are more than just ‘members’ of an organization,” Weisheyer explains. “They’re small-business owners, community leaders and advocates who contribute significantly to the Florida and U.S. economies. In fact, the real estate sector represents upwards of one-fifth of the GDP.”
Weisheyer added that Florida’s Realtors® are dedicated to supporting the state’s robust housing market and protecting private property rights at all levels.
“Every day, our members are making a positive impact on their communities and our country,” he said. “We are the voice for real estate in Florida and work tirelessly to support our members, the lives of our neighbors and the beautiful state we call home.”
2025 goals
Weisheyer and the Florida Realtors Leadership Team have identified goals for 2025 as "impact, innovation, leadership and advocacy."
- Impact: To be responsive to member needs and challenges and find ways to solve them.
- Innovation: To bring new perspectives and new technologies to the table to improve the real estate industry.
- Leadership: To identify and empower the next generation of Florida's real estate leaders.
- Advocacy: To protect property rights, promote pro-business policies and address key legislative issues, especially insurance reform.
