Venice Realtor® Wins 2024 Realtor® Achievement Award

ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Realtors® recognized Jim Mulvey, a member of the Venice Board of Realtors®, as the winner of its 2024 Realtor® Achievement Award, which recognizes a Realtor who serves as manager, broker of record or officer in his or her company.

Presented at the state association’s recent annual Convention & Trade Expo at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Fla., the award acknowledges the winner’s previous three years’ contributions to the community, local, state and national Realtor associations.

Mulvey has been actively involved in his local board since he joined in 2014, serving on numerous committees. He was president in 2023, and currently chairs the RPAC Committee, serves as a Stellar MLS director and on the Stellar MLS Finance Committee, as well as a member of the Data Services Committee. Mulvey is the Venice Board of Realtors’ mediator and ombudsman, successfully handling mediation cases. He was named his local board’s Realtor of the Year in 2020 and received its President’s Award in 2022.

At the state level, Mulvey is Florida Realtors 2024 District 13 vice president and has been a member of the state association’s Board of Directors for the past four years. He has served on many committees for Florida Realtors and is a current member of its Strategic Planning Committee, the Legislative Think Tank and Legislative and Regulatory Business Issues Breakout Group.

A Golden R major investor in the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) and a President’s Circle member, Mulvey believes in investing in his profession and supporting advocacy efforts.

He has served the National Association of Realtors (NAR) as a member of its Business Issues Policy Committee and on the NAR Delegate Body.

Mulvey volunteers his time and talents to several organizations in his local community. He supports Autism Advocacy, Girls Clubs, Children’s Miracle Network, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots and United Way, to name just a few.
