NAR Releases Guide for Veteran Buyers

A new NAR guide for veterans shows financing and buying options, the fourth in its Consumer Guide series on the benefits of working with a Realtor.

WASHINGTON – The National Association of Realtors® shared another new Consumer Guide to help Realtors continue to build trust with inquiring buyers, this time with a focus on veterans.

The guide, “What Veterans Need to Know About Buying a Home,” is the latest in NAR’s series that demonstrates the value of working with a Realtor®. This guide explains what NAR is doing to promote access to financing for veterans and highlights the options available to veteran buyers in their homebuying process.

In addition, on Tuesday, Sept. 17, Florida Realtors® will host its popular "Buyer Representation – What You Need to Know" webinar with Cynthia DeLuca. In this free event, from 9:30-11 a.m., ET, you will learn important topics related to the NAR settlement:

  • What was required on August 17
  • Understanding Florida "agency relationships” and buyer representation
