New Florida Realtors program celebrates Realtors who give back

Florida Realtors’ new I 🧡 My Hometown series will recognize members who give back to their communities. Submissions are due Oct. 30.

From mentoring young people to rallying support for neighbors in need, Realtors® across Florida are doing far more than helping people buy and sell homes. A new statewide program will share their stories.

The I 🧡 My Hometown social media series will feature Realtors who volunteer, lead community projects, support local nonprofits or step in when they see a neighbor in need.

SUBMIT A STORY

2026 Florida Realtors® President Chuck Bonfiglio said the idea grew from the many ways members contribute beyond their work in real estate.

“Realtors know their communities block by block, but their commitment doesn’t stop at the closing table,” Bonfiglio said. “Every day, our members see a need and step up, often without recognition. We created I 🧡 My Hometown to share those stories and showcase how Realtors help make Florida stronger.”

Florida Realtors members can submit their community service stories from all of 2026 online. Photos or videos must accompany each entry.

The Florida Realtors Communications Team will review the submissions and select members to feature on the association’s social media channels this fall. The submission deadline is Oct. 30.
