How Real Estate Agents Are Using AI Right Now

Agents are using AI to write property descriptions and housing market summaries. However, all AI-written content should be thoroughly checked for accuracy.

NEW YORK – More real estate agents are using artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline processes and save time, but using AI carefully is essential.

AI can make writing engaging property descriptions and housing market summaries easier by using demographic data and buyer preferences that help highlight key features. It can also help rewrite listings to make them more engaging. However, agents also have to be aware that AI content may be inaccurate and need additional research or proofreading. Some content can sound exaggerated when written by AI, pushing away potential buyers.

AI can also help agents identify qualified buyers, which can narrow down possible leads and help them sell more homes. Some real estate businesses also use AI to identify potential agents to ensure they have the strongest team available, but in some cases AI can be a time-waster and place agent credibility at risk.
